Inspiration: Specs!

Today I want to celebrate one of my favorite inspirations...."Specs"! I know that's kind of an old term and some people have been confused by the name "Specs & Wings" so here's a little visual to clear things up to 20/20! :)

Oh the beauty of these simple little eye glasses! Did you see them in a new way today? I have been wearing glasses since I was 5 and even when the opportunity presented itself for me to change to contacts, I refused! Glasses have always been my favorite accessory and I am proud to wear them. For me they represent being myself and they remind me that I have a unique and special identity in the Lord. He created me the way I am for a purpose and there is such freedom in that! :) Speaking of which.....I'll be sharing an "Inspiration:Wings!" post tomorrow!

Last night, Danielle and I had an art party! She made some beautiful hair clips and I made some more note cards! I was using gauche and stamps and Danielle asked if I'd like to use her metallic watercolors...oh they are a thing of beauty! I was mesmerized! I have lots of new painted note cards with fun bright colors and pretty metallic colors. I've hand stamped them with lots of designs including Russian dolls, a peacock, bunting banners, "thank you"s, "hello dear" and more!

Come by and see them at Farmer's Market tomorrow! You can choose any 5 collaged, painted, or hand stamped cards to create your very own note set for only $12! They're great to have on hand for any occasion and you can hand pick them for the people you love!

A Flower in your Hair....

I've got new flower headbands ready for Farmer's Market this weekend! There's a limited supply, so come early to get yours! Tonight I'm so excited for an art party with Danielle. What should I make?

I have been loving this photo this week. The layers, the colors, the words....it's just dreamy! 

When I think through each of these ideas and ask myself how I'm living, dreaming and loving...I get excited to live more freely and to the fullest! How about you?

"Mini" Everything!

I created this "Mini Clipboard Promo Kit" for a meeting yesterday and I am giddy for it! This sweet little packet includes a  mini price list,  mini order form, a mini art print, pocket mirror in a mini chevron bag, little note from me, a mini business card and a mini clip!

 Is it just me, or is everything cuter in "mini" size? :)

Lovely Gifted Feather Clip!

Today I'm wearing a beautiful peacock feather clip made by none other than the amazing Danielle Kiser of Olive Eyes! She gave it to me for my birthday and it is the most beautiful hair clip I own!
