Be Strong and Courageous!

I have LOVED creating this little three panel painting! It will be hanging in the office of a sweet friend of mine and I love the colors, design, and Bible verse she chose for this piece. Reasons I love it...

First, the three panels make this painting VERY versatile! Each panel could be hung right next to each other or spread apart. The panels could also be separated from each other or hung vertically!

I also love the thick gallery wrap canvases with the cranberry colored edges! This make each panel "pop" off the wall nicely and brings out the colors in the flowers.

I think it's fun that she chose "cherry blossom" style flowers with swirly vines! They were really fun to paint and the shapes were so pretty and organic.

She asked me to include the Bible verse Joshua 1:9 within the swirls! I love this verse too and I think the writing creates another fun texture to the design.

The colors she chose are so pretty together! I used a "cranberry" red for the flowers and also added brighter pops of red and pink. The swirls are a bright green with a thin coat of olive to tone it down and add dimension and the writing is a dark brown. The background is a warm/deep brown that compliments the other colors nicely!

I love how each panel flows to the next and the words follow each swirl.

What a wonderful way to perk up a dull office, make you happy while you work, and remind you of God's truth!

I hope my sweet friend enjoys this painting, I had a blast creating it and I hope to do more painting "sets" in the future! :)
