I started experimenting with my new lyric painting series last night! What do you think?
I used watercolor paper, used a wet brush to dampen the center of each, added color, blotted (repeatedly to get effect) and then used a tiny brush to write onto the wet surface. I also let the wet paint "splash" from one page to the next to get a little mix of color. I like how "honest" it feels. Know what I mean? I also want the "feel" of these paintings to express these beautiful words. I'm excited for your feedback! :)
