It's finished! I finally got to give Jeremy the bowl that I created on the pottery wheel! It was so fun to glaze it and then be surprised when it was fired! I painted the different glazes on as grey, brown, and white and look at the results! Wow. I'm so intrigued!
The glaze I put on the rim is called a "Cascade" glaze" and the kind I put inside has a mat finish!
I especially love the little brown speckles and the crackles in the cascade glaze!
Danielle is an awesome teacher and I can't wait for her to teach me more about ceramics!!!
Hope your day is so fun! Tonight Jeremy and I are making a plan to create our own "swatch portraits" wall! (see post below) I'm SO EXCITED!
