I love to paint.I also really enjoy keeping personal journals full of illustrations.
2. What most inspires you?
Music. I love to listen to music while I work. I am also really inspired by films. I love all of Charlie Kaufman's work, Amelie and 2046.

4. Why do you think scrapbooking is important?
I enjoy scrapbooking because I love both photography and design. I love mixing elements. It's a very open ended hobby with hundreds of possibilities.
5. What MUST be in your studio/work space?
Paint, good music & notepads full of ideas.
Red Tea or very strong Lattes.

8. What is a typical day like for you? When do you make time to be creative?
I usually work for an hour or two in the morning (before I go out) then I have coffee, run errands and settle back in for an evening in the studio around 6 or 8. I usually work all night.
9. Why do you create?
It's healthy for me. I need constant challenge and competition in life to be happy... even if the competition is against myself.
10. What advice do you have for artists who are just getting started?
Consider everything before you choose art as a full time job. It's a hard life.
11. What is it like owning your own shop?
It's amazing. It's stressful. It's everything I ever hoped it would be and everything I never expected.
12. Where is your favorite place?
I like to hang out at home a lot. My favorite place I've traveled to is India and I am also very fond of cabins in the country.
13. What's your newest art adventure?
I am working on a children's book and a toy line, currently. It's really fun and interesting. I've never worked on products for children before and I'm really enjoying it.
