Hi! My name is Molly Swanson and this is my little blog! I started "Specs & Wings" in March of 2008 while I was still in art school. My sweet friend Danielle encouraged me to start a blog and open an etsy shop.  I wasn't sure about it at first, but I have loved it ever since! I live in a little town in Texas with my amazing husband, Jeremy! We love to create together, watch Psych and 24, listen to records while we cook and drink cup after cup of coffee. :)

I decided to name my blog after a self portrait I did for a painting class. Specs & Wings is about being who God made you to be and feeling free to create in your style! I love to blog about my creative life, starting my very own art business, and about the things that inspire me. (I hope they inspire you too!)
